The very slippery and icy morning had me dreaming of summer day at Lake Superior and even if that storm cloud moved towards shore, it wouldn’t be freezing rain like it was this morning.

Another gray day brought rain, freezing rain, ice pellets and large snowflakes. The snowflakes weren’t as large as autumn leaves and it wasn’t a warm fall day either. And even though it means winter is approaching when the leaves start falling to the ground, after shoveling snow again, I rather see some autumn color instead of more frozen white.
