I stopped at Amnicon Falls State Park today, and while there wasn’t much for snow, but there was ice at the falls. The Now and Then Falls sometimes doesn’t have much flow, but the ice completely covered it this last day of January.

I would not have taken as many photographs that I have over the years if I would have had to drag this large camera around. But most people are using their cell phones to take photos instead of a camera of my size, but either new camera style does not chemicals to create the photos.

This probably isn’t the beer keg that one would be opening up this on Friday night. The Cassville Brewery was started about 1895 and changed owners multiple times and finally was renamed The Cassville Brewing Co which operated from 1933 to 1938. The smaller keg is from the Potosi Brewing Company which operated from 1906 to 1972.

Lake Superior seems to be in constant change and with the wind change overnight, the ice broke up in a few hours by morning and all the ice chunks were gone a couple hours later.
