As people visit some of the Wisconsin state parks this summer, they might run across some “Selfie Shelf” stands. They have shelves that will hold a smart cellphone in the direction of a nice scenic view which you can stand near. It gives the instructions, including setting your camera self timer, getting in place and saying “Cheese” (since you are in Wisconsin). And if your phone is a “smart” smartphone, you don’t have to set the timer and race into position but just say cheese from where you stand. This selfie shelf was on a bluff called Eagle Panorama overlooking the water of Lake Michigan with Horseshoe Island off in the distance.
