The sun was hidden by clouds all day and flowers are not blooming in the early winter time to provide any “sunny” color today so have to dream of summer instead.

With the arrival of a new month, meteorological winter starts, which includes the months of December, January and February. The frost was heavy this morning but at least no snow on the ground although I would be happier with meteorological autumn instead.

I had some catnip that have survived the freezing nights so I dug some up to bring inside so my cats can have some fresh leaves for a few more weeks. And while they might love the fresh catnips, it would have been nice to see some colorful blooms instead of dead brown remembers that summer is over.
