The snow drifts are making it hard to get around and they are blocking access to areas and buildings. With the snow falling again today, soon you wouldn’t know what color this shed is as it will be completely covered by snow.

The blizzard this weekend made it hard to see very far as well as creating large drifts. I rather see a summer storm which can hide a lighthouse and creates waves on the water since normally it is warmer weather and you are not stuck not fighting with snow for weeks.

It wasn’t fun clearing the driveway when the strong winds filled snow back in due to the blizzard conditions which whipped the snow around causing big drifts which even snowplow trucks couldn’t get through. The snow danced across the landscape and the trees became white again.

More snow is falling from the sky tonight and earlier snow was falling off my roof as I tried to rake some of the deep snow off. If the weather ever warms up, there will be a lot of water running. But right now when I am inside my house, it looks like I am at the bottom of the waterfall as the snow is piled too high to see out of my windows.

Red barns stand out against the white December snow like this one, but now that the snow has increased its depth by three feet this February, I prefer to see them surrounded with green grass.

The sun may peek out tomorrow to shine on the new thick layer of snow. The woodchuck’s prediction may be way off this year as it doesn’t look like any wildflowers will be blooming any time soon. It is even hard to find some old plants still above the snow depth.

As the sun went down today, the February “super snow moon” rose in the east, since the moon is very close to the earth tonight and February full moon are know as snow moons and this February has definitely been a snowy month.
