I am enjoying the weather this December and the lack of snow is making the critters happy too as they can find food and seeds easier without the snow cover.
The leaves have been off the trees for a while, but the warmer December has melted the small amount of snow that has fallen so it is easier to hike around the field to view the sunsets.
On this day In 1965, “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” premiered on CBS. And this poor pine tree sure could classify as a Charlie Brown Christmas tree with its dead lower limbs and split curvy top.
Besides me, the cats seem to be enjoying the temporarily lack of snow in December so they can roll around on dirt instead of snow and I wouldn’t mind a brown Christmas if it means less shoveling snow this month.
The 50 degree day helped to melt the snow again which will help farmers who haven’t harvested all their crops yet, but at least this field has been harvested.
