The autumn colors are still bright in some areas, but stronger winds are causing a lot of leaves to fall. I was hit in the face by a big maple leaf today while taking some fall pictures.
Some of the “leaf peepers” might see the colorful leaves while they are enjoying a waterfall or cascades like at Siskiwit Falls at Cornucopia, Wisconsin. The Siskiwit Falls are a series of slides and drops totaling about twenty feet.
After the fog lifted, there was some nice sunshine in the morning hours to enjoy an autumn walk in the woods before the clouds rolled back in by late afternoon.
