The mouth of the Cranberry River changes from time to time when the storms on Lake Superior move the sandbar.

Today was another cloudy day with the sun breaking through for a few minutes before sunset so the autumn colors were not able to pop in the sunlight.

The Cranberry River is very peaceful where it enters Lake Superior. A variety of fish can found in the river, including rainbow trout, which might have been the fish I spotted about 30 feet from the mouth.
