Spotting yellow blossoms in a wet area, I assumed it would be marsh marigolds, but instead these poor dandelions having very wet feet as the wet spring continues.
When I am walking on a beach looking for pretty rocks, I also watch for interesting pieces of driftwood. This piece looks like a dragon or serpent and is ready to strike out at you.
Pieces of driftwood are like clouds, as it lets you use your imagination to see different things and by moving around and viewing from various angles, additional images pop out at you.
It is always interesting to look at a piece of driftwood and picture different objects that it resembles. I see two faces with masks in this driftwood and even a third little face in between the other two.
The wind has been blowing snow around causing drifts and ripples as it covers objects, but I rather study sand on a beach moving around rocks and driftwood.
This empty beach probably will have more visitors on this holiday weekend enjoying the view while walking on sand and looking for a pretty piece of driftwood
When walking on a beach, it is fun to imagine what an interesting piece of driftwood looks like, sort of like finding things in clouds. This one looks like a moose head where his antler broke off.
