While many enjoyed the day off during this holiday, there are always some who have to ‘labor’ on this Labor Day, like the clerks working at the gas station when I filled up with fuel today and those employed at other business still open during the holiday. Farmers often work during the holiday, especially if it is a dry day to get the hay baled.

With a few dry days, farmers were busy cutting hay in hopes of getting it baled up without it getting rained on.
Cutting Hay
Like many holidays, a lot of the farmers worked on the 4th of July baling hay since it was one of the few opportunities of dry days to get some hay up. Although not all the hay looked very green anymore as it had been washed multiple times from rainy month.
