Critters and creatures might be enjoying the last warm day before the frost comes and hopefully they are gathering in their winter food supply like this busy bee.

The summer butterflies are attracted to the rose pink star shaped blossoms of the Dragon’s Blood Sedum. But as the cooler weather of fall arrives, the pink flowers will turn more red and the foliage turns a bronze red too. And since deer leave them alone, it is probably a groundcover that I should plant at my place.
