With chances of rain the next several days, some sunsets might be hidden or have darker rain clouds on the horizon instead of a clearer sky.
Dark Cloud Sunset
I didn’t get to see the sunset tonight, even though I was outside when the sun went down, as I was mowing behind the tree line. I did some some pink bouncing off some clouds to the east. But even though I missed the sunset, I did see a lot of other offerings from Mother Nature as I mowed, including two different batches of baby bunnies, a little fawn with spots and later probably its mother but the grass was too tall to spot the fawn again. Also noticed some rodents and insects and got off the mower once to pick a wild strawberry only to discover some critter had already eaten the bottom half.
Summer Sunday Sunset
A deer was claiming my driveway this evening so I wasn’t sure I would be able to walk to the road to take pictures of the sunset. I might have to set up a toll road with all chipmunks, rabbits, pheasants, turkeys, deer and other critters using my driveway. At least it was chilly enough this evening that the mosquitoes were not biting me when I was taking pictures.
Sunny Sunday Sunset
Mother Nature played an April Fool’s Day joke on this Easter day when the morning broke on a very cold note and the snow did not disappear overnight. It would have been preferable to see a nice sunrise when the temperature was near normal for April 1 instead of 20 degrees colder. And with more snow predicted in the coming days, the winter joke is continuing for the beginning of April with no hint of spring.
