The storms overnight and additional rain today made the rivers with low fall flow, surge with rushing water again.
Flowing Again
Yesterday’s warmer temperature finally stopped my roof mini-waterfalls since the last of the snow melted off my roof, but of course there is still plenty of that white stuff still covering my lawn. And the spring flow over waterfalls make them flow heavier than in the late fall.

More snow is falling from the sky tonight and earlier snow was falling off my roof as I tried to rake some of the deep snow off. If the weather ever warms up, there will be a lot of water running. But right now when I am inside my house, it looks like I am at the bottom of the waterfall as the snow is piled too high to see out of my windows.
Little Manitou Falls
Although cloudy, it did reach forty degrees briefly today and so there was some water running from the melting snow. More patches of ground appeared so a white Christmas could be in jeopardy. But with all the melting, it still hasn’t melted all the snow off my roof so I had a mini waterfall by the door but it wasn’t a pretty as the upper part of Two Step Falls on the Baptism River.
