With the approaching snow season, the days are fill with projects to winterized and prepare for the colder weather. This old log building would need some chinking before winter to make it warm and cozy.
A week of warmer temperatures and no snow allowed farmer to continue harvesting, including baling hay, although this old dump rake wasn’t unlikely used in the haying process. The dump rake style is still being used in parts of the country and the new models go up to 42 feet wide.
The warmer temperatures makes it nicer while finishing the outside winterizing projects plus no frozen hands when taking a photo of last night’s sunset.
It doesn’t seem like the long range weather forecast is any more accurate than the woolly bear caterpillar, but it isn’t a good sign if the woolly bear is carrying ice crystals on its back.
