The main entrance of the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis is a colonnaded portico with two 116-foot spires on each side. The exterior of the building was constructed between 1907-1915. The Basilica of Saint Mary was the first basilica in the United States and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
