The wind was blowing stuff around today, like the empty sunflower hulls and snow, but I would rather see some dancing flowers waving around in the strong breeze instead.

Some of the snow has fallen off the trees, revealing more green again but other than the pine trees, some brown oak leaves, and the orange glow from the sunset on the snow, there isn’t a lot of color to see on the white landscape. There are no bright colorful flowers with green grasshopper coated in yellow pollen to be found around here in the winter.

Some of the lilies remind me a little like fireworks appearing to explode outward, but they are much quieter, with only the hum of bumblebees, than fireworks going off all week.

It is very, very hard to think about spring or summer during the snow blizzard! I know eventually green grass and colorful flowers will return erasing the memory of the sea of white flying pass the windows.

The last day of November brought sunshine and above average temperatures (course the average high temperature is only 31 now). But the low sun angle does not provide real bright sunshine or warmth and the freezing night do not allow any flowers to bloom outside.
