Last Sunday a rainbow appeared but I was too slow getting to a nice scenic area to photograph it, partly because I was also watching and taking pictures the cloud formation which was bringing the rain for the rainbow.

The rainy day might prevent some of the normal Father’s Day outdoor activities but hopefully there will be some dry moments to enjoy the day.
Sunday Sunset
It seemed very wrong to have to wear a stocking cap and jacket when mowing lawn yesterday but then it wasn’t real warm and clouds dropping sprinkles on me kept occurring most of the day. This storm cloud coming from the north glowed as the sun was setting to the west, but I wasn’t looking at the pretty colors but dark streaks of rain at the bottom and I was trying to guess if I would get wet again or not.

With another hot, scorching day, all I can think of is the western movies with the desert scenes and the vultures waiting for the next victim.
The Skull
While not as colorful as yesterday’s hand blown glass ornament, the landscape outside can provide some color besides the white snow with green from the pines and the brown tree limbs, but the sky can provide colors from white, blue, orange and sometimes even pink.
