This little falls is the top drop of the Twin Falls before the wider and taller plunge of Larson Creek, but at the moment I have more water overflowing from my little pond than the waterfall due to several rainy days.

The last couple of sunny days haven’t been warm enough to melt a lot of snow yet but there was some water dripping from the roof like a tiny waterfall. This waterfall doesn’t have a lot of flow in the fall and sounded a lot like the snow falling off my eaves.

Listening to the rain falling off my roof this evening sounds like a very small relaxing waterfall, and not a roaring one with lots of water flowing.

The recent waves of rain showers have caused heavy rains in some areas but light amounts of rainfall in nearby areas, so while some rivers are running full, others like this stream barely flow. But even though the flow is light, it still creates a pretty waterfall.

While hiking in a stream bed, filled with sand to large boulders, to a waterfall, I spotted a pine tree growing from the fallen boulder. It always amazes me how moss, lichens, ferns and trees can establish a hold on rocks.

I was going to post an old church picture, which I often do on a Sunday, but the picture I took of an old abandon church during the storm on Lake Superior had a rain drop on the lens which I didn’t notice at the time. I had to wipe the lens off a lot that day but apparently not enough times.
So instead I am posting a very quiet waterfall (since it was before the storm and not after) called Twin Falls for this Sunday’s picture. This two step waterfall is sometimes referred to as Lower Twin Falls as there is another small waterfall higher up the cliff and maybe why it was named Twin Falls. For me, I think the name came from the almost equal drops from one ledge to the next ledge where the water falls twice.
