The foggy gray days continued this morning as the trees remained coated with more frost overnight stripping more color away from the landscape.

Another night of freezing fog added another layer of frost on the trees as the day remained cloudy again. With more cloudy days in the forecast, the skies might not clear enough for me to see the comet passing by that last visited about 50,000 years ago.

When exploring the ice formations, it was interesting to see so many different colors of ice especially the light blue ice falls. Course I was a little blue when my garage door was frozen down in ice and it took me a while to get the door open this morning.

With the rain and snow the past weeks, it has been a little scary opening some doors to the outside when the temperature is near freezing and the snow pack start slide off the roofs. While standing under the curling wave of snow, you can almost picture yourself surfing inside a large wave tunnel. But instead you listening for any signs that the snow is going to break off and hit you on the head.

With the temperature finally above freezing again, the ice was dropping off the tree limbs so they are no longer sparkling in the sunlight like earlier in the week.

The morning dawned to another very frosty morning, but at least the only snow falling was the frost dropping off the tree branches when the sun warmed up the trees.

The trees which had shook the snow from their limbs yesterday where coated again in white from the frost this morning. The sun later in the day melted some of the frost but the landscape still remained rather white.
